Description of the car by its current owner: I believe I was probably the first to import a pre-1960 Moretti into Australia. I will have to look through my records, but I bought the TDM from Dan (..) in California. He was a dealer in circus and fairground equipment. He had 4 Moretti TDM spiders and the one I bought was the best of them. It is a low mileage original car on which the panel fit was very good but the paint was awful. The paint is partly stripped. It was probably driven with the oil level low and a connecting rod bearing failed. It was parked with a cover over it beside a house in Los Angeles, but water got in, the carpets got wet, and eventually the floors rusted out.
