Chassis #0592-927 — Base Fiat 850
This S1 was discovered in Italy in a partially disassembled state, currently undergoing a full restoration in a workshop. The photos reveal the car stripped down to its bare bodyshell, with primer visible on several panels and the rear decklid removed, exposing the engine bay.
The body appears to be in relatively solid condition despite the level of disassembly. The characteristic Sportiva rear end with its louvered engine cover and twin exhaust outlets is recognizable even in this stripped state. The presence of what appears to be body parts from other Moretti cars in the workshop suggests a specialist restoration effort. The car retains its Moretti instrumentation visible through the open windshield area.
