850 Sportiva S2

Currently undergoing restoration in Switzerland, this S2 is shown in a partially stripped state at a bodyshop. The side profile reveals the car's body still carrying remnants of its original red paint alongside bare metal panels that have been prepared for fresh bodywork.

The S2 designation marks a significant evolution in the Sportiva range, featuring a revised front end more closely resembling the Ferrari Dino 246 GT. Even in this mid-restoration state, the car's proportions are clearly visible, with the Cromodora alloy wheels already fitted. The Swiss location is consistent with the strong tradition of Moretti ownership in the country, where several well-maintained examples continue to delight their owners on the scenic alpine roads for which these nimble coupés were ideally suited.
