Chassis #1027-340 — Base Fiat 850
Currently undergoing restoration in Portugal, this S1 is shown in the workshop with freshly applied red paint and some reassembly in progress. The rear three-quarter view reveals the body shell looking solid and well-prepared, though the car is still missing its glass, interior, and several trim pieces.
The restoration appears to be progressing well, with the bodywork showing good lines and consistent paint coverage. The Cromodora alloy wheels are already fitted, and the rear light clusters are in place. The presence of other Moretti parts visible in the workshop suggests a thorough and well-resourced restoration effort. This Portuguese example, with its confirmed 1968 chassis date, adds to the geographic diversity of surviving Sportivas.
